Trip to Israel
“Behold, I will make Jerusalem a cup of drunkenness [trembling] to all the surrounding peoples, when they lay siege against Judah and Jerusalem. And it shall happen in that day that I will make Jerusalem a very heavy stone for all people; all who would heave it away will surely be cut in pieces, though all nations of the earth are gathered against it. It shall be in that day that I will seek to destroy all the nations that come against Jerusalem” (Zechariah 12:2-3,9)
This trip to Germany was one of forgiveness and deliverance. G-d's mercy and grace became evident on this trip for Mitch and Rozalie. In Germany, Rozalie and Mitch participated in a March for Life, a march where Jews and Germans reconciled with each other. We witnessed Holocaust survivors forgive the Nazis of what had happened to them. We also witnessed descendants of Nazis beg for forgiveness from Holocaust survivors and Jews for what their fathers and grandfathers had done. It was a moving trip that was personally and spiritually edifying.
Rozalie enjoyed taking the Roots and Reflections Tour with her friends Barry and Batya Segal of The Joseph Storehouse. A couple of days before the tour, she visited with her family in Tel Aviv. While on the tour, she ventured through the Negev Desert and got to experience wine tasting in the desert, spending the night in a Bedouin tent and visiting a replica of the ancient Tabernacle. Her trip was a life-changing experience, meeting new people and experiencing the L-rd is many new ways. Take a look at some moments she captured!
The first March of Remembrance Houston was held on April 21, 2012, the day Joshua marched around the city of Jericho.
Jews and Christians united to remember those lost in the Holocaust and to vow "Never Again." Over 500 people joined the March and close to 1,000 attended the memorial service.
